When we launched the BizFamous AI Startup Pitch Competition powered by Peachscore, our goal was to do more than just host another pitch event; we wanted to create a platform where underdog founders, rising stars, and high-conviction builders in AI could get the spotlight they deserve. What unfolded over three incredible days at AI Marketing World in Dallas exceeded every expectation.
From Top 10 to Top 6: A Real-Time Lesson in Showing Up
We started with 10 promising AI startup finalists. But as the pitches were about to begin, we learned that one founder couldn’t make it. And just when we thought we’d be wrapping, in walked another determined founder — after driving four hours from Austin — who arrived just minutes after the final pitch ended.
Instead of disqualifying them, we made a snap decision: expand the semifinals to a Top 6. That last-minute wildcard? They didn’t just make it in… they went on to become one of the Top 3 Finalists. A powerful reminder: showing up changes the game.

Semifinal Judging: A Powerful Panel

The semifinals were judged by some of the sharpest minds in early-stage investing and venture building:
- Vidhi Data, Founder, She Raises Capital
- Dan Sinawat, Founder, VC Arena
- Ichan Stall, Co-Chairman, North Texas Angel Network
- Alex Hemmerlein, Plug and Play Tech Center
We are incredibly grateful for your time, participation, and contributions! Their insight and sharp questioning helped narrow our field to an elite Top 3:
- Rachel Miller and Holly Homer – co-founders, Pagewheel
- Mikael Lemberg – Founder, Get Bob
- Taylor Meadows – Founder, Change Captain
The Finals: Where It All Came Together
For the final round, I had the privilege of judging alongside:
- Mike Wilkes, Plug and Play Tech Center on the left
- David Evans, Managing Partner, Sentiero VC on the right

We awarded first place to Taylor Meadows of Change Captain!

As the winner of the BizFamous AI Startup Pitch Competition powered by Peachscore, Change Captain is the recipient of:
- $5,000 non-dilutive grant funding
- A 5-star, All inclusive luxury vacation package from Famous Travel Club
- A feature in a major news release syndicated by Press Ranger
It was a very close contest between the final competitors, with Get Bob earning second and Pagewheel completing the top 3 spots. Congratulations to everyone who participated!
People's Champion: When the Crowd Speaks

While our panel selected the winner, we also opened it up to the audience to crown a People’s Champion. That honor was awarded to Rachel Miller and Holly Homer of Pagewheel, who received a $7,000 CRO optimization program donated by Erin Athene, CEO of MintCRO.
It was an electric moment that highlighted how the community values founders who not only have bold ideas but know how to connect and lead from the stage.
Honoring the Hosts and Sponsors
A heartfelt thank you to the hosts of AI Marketing World, who gave us the platform to make this vision come to life:
- Austin Armstrong, Founder of Syllaby.io
- Scott Simson, Owner of Raffiti Media
- Marley Jaxx and Steve J. Larsen – your support and energy were unmatched.
- Chad Peterson - an entertaining and heartfelt emcee who brought everyone together.
And of course, this event wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible sponsors, who stepped up to support the next wave of AI talent:
- Carta – Cap table and equity management software built for startups
- EmailSmart – Email deliverability tools that help ensure your message gets through
- Press Ranger – A powerful, all-in-one media publishing platform
- Famous Travel Club – An exclusive luxury travel membership platform
- MintCRO – Conversion rate optimization expertise for high-growth brands
- Kate Buck Jr., Founder of Social Media Pro – for going above and beyond to help make this event a massive success.
And best of all, all ten finalists earned an invitation to join the Peachscore Data-Driven Accelerator, an equity-free program built to help founders scale their startups into successful brands. Even more exciting, the top three were already active members of the Peachscore community, with the grand prize winner being a graduate of the accelerator itself. I’m proud to be both an early investor and an advisor to Peachscore.
Final Thoughts
This wasn’t just a pitch competition, it was a launchpad. We didn’t just evaluate decks; we validated dreams. From 4-hour drives to standing ovations, the BizFamous AI Startup Pitch Competition powered by Peachscore proved that hustle, vision, and the willingness to show up can change everything.
To every founder who pitched, every judge who gave their time, and every partner who made this possible — thank you. The future of AI isn’t reserved for the few. It’s being built by those bold enough to claim their spot.
And if you missed it this year, I suggest you show up next time.
